Dragons by the YardIssue #5

Anna never expected to become the surrogate mother to seven tiny dragons—especially ones she unknowingly created. But now, danger is hot on her heels. After a deadly clash with the vengeful mother dragon Kelsaru, who reclaimed six of the young dragons as her own, Anna is left with only Albert—a dragon rejected by Kelsaru as flawed.

Determined to keep Albert safe, Anna teams up with her best friend Mae and the resourceful Robert. Together, they scrape together what little they have, hitch a travel trailer to Robert’s van, and hit the road, heading for the sun-scorched deserts of the southwest. But going off-grid might not be enough to outrun Kelsaru’s wrath. Their bond—and Albert’s survival—will be tested as they face a journey fraught with peril, unexpected allies, and the fiery pursuit of a powerful dragon intent on reclaiming what she believes is hers.
