A Limited Edition Die-Cut Antique Bronze Pin Featuring the Mary Shelley Presents Logo
(Shipping and handling included for continental US)
Description
This limited edition die-cut antique bronze pin features a design created exclusively for the Mary Shelley Presents series. It appears on the credits page in every issue where the logo and the credits are listed on a grave’s memorial stone. Fans of the Harry Potter series might be interested to learn that the grave site and the memorial stone used in the graphic design of the credits page is actually the grave of the real Thomas Riddell, his son Thomas Riddell and his two daughters, Christian and Maria Jane Riddell. While writing the series, J. K. Rowling often wrote at a site nearby to Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh, Scotland. It’s believed that this grave was the inspiration for the name of the character Lord Voldemort who was born as Tom Riddle.
