Gates of MidnightVolume 2

Gates of Midnight Volume 2 continues Raven Moon’s story, collecting Issues 5 through 8 of Gates of Midnight, the first series published by Kymera Press. When Raven Moon returns home to NYC from her tour as a combat medic in Afghanistan, she’s hoping to put her life back together. Suffering from PTSD, her dreams are haunted after having her fiancé die in her arms during her last deployment. Only her father, Eddy Moon, seems to be able to make her feel safe. But then he is taken from her as well.

As the new Warrior of the Gate, Raven has avenged her murdered father and dealt with the Kraken that committed the atrocity. She’s learned that the Kraken was under the control of an unknown monster on the other side of the Gate. Now the secrets will come out, the true threat will be determined and sides chosen. All while fighting monsters, whether it be among the elite of New York at a black-tie ball, or in the dark alleyways of the urban jungle.

Gates of Midnight is a supernatural thriller that explores just who are the monsters–the creatures that wait beyond the gate, admitted each new moon–or us, the human race.
